BOY!

We welcomed William Hudson into the world on September 27 at 5:18 pm.  He was so polite to arrive on his own on his due date.  He weighed 8 pounds 14 ounces and was 20 3/4 inches long.

So, the 75% of you who guessed boy were right!  Now you win the grand prize of a pat on the back.

We got to go home Saturday afternoon and are happy to be back with the kids and my parents.

I started this post a couple days ago but due to a terrible headache which after being told to go to the ER is most likely from my epidural and will be fine, I didn’t feel up to looking at a computer screen.  I am feeling a ton better already and hopefully the fluids and caffeine will help it all go away faster.  I do have to go back to my dr. in a few days since they want to check on a couple numbers that were elevated just to make sure it isn’t the rare instance of preeclampsia after a pregnancy…who knew?!  Anyway, besides all that drama we are doing great and everything else about my recovery is better than the other pregnancies.  I’ll update more info and photos on William asap.  I just wanted to let you guys know that he did arrive and we are well.
